Music has been structured in such a way that it can only lead to 2 types of careers: 1. teaching 2. performing. Has anyone thought beyond that? How many struggling artists do we find in this society? But has anyone thought about WHY they struggle?
I have the answer for that. Because they do not have the knowledge of how to generate an income in this wide and developing field.
Thus, music business education is of very high importance. Without a knowledge of how the music industry works, evolves and is structured, people will keep on struggling.
